Heartland picks Smile Reminder to improve communications

Heartland Dental Care, a national dental group with more than 280 offices in the U.S., has chosen Smile Reminder to provide its patient engagement system to streamline the group's practice management communications.

The Enterprise Edition of Smile Reminder is specifically designed to provide group practices like Heartland Dental Care with assistance in message control within their group. Heartland will support control of content, appearance, and scheduling via the Enterprise dashboard. It will also receive aggregated feedback and reports regarding each individual practices efforts to retain, reactivate, and acquire patients.

"Partnering with Smile Reminder will allow us to communicate with patients how they want to be communicated with," said Patrick Bauer, president and chief operating officer of Heartland, in a press release. "By the end of March, all of our offices will be able to offer interested patients the additional convenience of receiving text and or e-mail communications regarding their appointments and in-office promotions."
