Advantage Technologies has launched a new app designed to give dentists the ability to access their practice management systems by using the touchscreen interface benefits of Apple's iPad, according to the company.
The DDSLink application provides direct access to practice management software, financial systems, imaging systems, and basic operations such as e-mail and file management from an iPad, both in the office and remotely.
It is designed to be used on a wireless network within the office, and it can also remotely access information from outside the office using any high-speed Internet connection.
