The University of Iowa (UI) College of Dentistry recently received gift support totaling $500,000 from Donald Ostrus, D.D.S., of Los Altos, CA.
In recognition of this gift, the school's prosthodontic clinic will be named the Ostrus Family Prosthodontic Clinic. The clinic will be located in the southeast wing of the Dental Sciences Building after it has been renovated.
Dr. Ostrus, who is retired, holds two degrees from UI: a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and dentistry (1948) and a doctor of dental surgery degree (1950).
