Midmark has introduced the Elevance dental chair, featuring a hydraulic system with optional heat and massage systems.
The chair's unique backrest cradles patients with integrated armrests for patient comfort and access, according to the company. The Cantilever Forward is designed to bring the patient to the clinician, starting at a seat height of 15 inches and extending to a seat height of 34 inches.
The sculpted headrest, advanced lower lumbar support, and two layers of foam offer comfort and increased support, the company said. The armrests and cast aluminum backrest are designed to accommodate patients of all sizes. The advanced hydraulic system delivers responsive operation while supporting patients weighing up to 450 pounds.
The optional SerenEscape heat and massage system offers patients a massage, while lumbar heat warms muscles for further relaxation, Midmar said. Personal preferences are adjusted with a remote hand control. Settings include high and low heat, three different massage patterns, and adjustable speed and intensity.
