Maximum annual Medicaid reimbursements for adults in Vermont would drop from $495 to $200 a year in a budget proposed by Gov. James Douglas, according to an article in the Times Argus.
The proposal has to be approved by state legislators, who overruled the governor to put their own budget in place in the last fiscal year.
