Everest Institute Gahanna in Gahanna, OH, has added a dental assisting program to its curriculum and is now enrolling students, the school announced.
The program can be completed in less than a year and provides an interactive, hands-on learning environment, including work-place simulations.
Students learn about dental office emergencies, radiography, dental specialties, operative and laboratory procedures, dental anatomy, and orthodontics. They complete an externship. Graduates are qualified for entry-level positions at dental offices, dental manufacturers, laboratories, and insurance companies.
Everest has 100 schools in the U.S. and Canada.
