Harvard, BU schools reopening

Harvard University's dental school reopened May 7 after being closed for a week because four students were diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus, the school announced.

"Please know that all of these students are recovering well and that the school has taken all possible measures to protect your well-being," the school's dean and assistant dean wrote in a letter posted on the school's Web site.

The clinic was "thoroughly disinfected," the letter said.

Meanwhile, Boston University's orthodontic clinic was scheduled to reopen Friday, after being closed for four days because a resident was diagnosed with a probable case of the virus.

The cases at the two universities appear unrelated.
