Heartland Dental Care acquired six dental practices and opened two new dental care facilities during the first quarter 2009, the company announced.
The six acquisitions include practices in Dickson, TN; Lexington, KY; Las Vegas; Phoenix; Glendale, AZ; and New Port Richey, FL. Two new dental facilities opened during the first quarter are located in Lee's Summit, MO, and Dulles, VA. This brings the total number of Heartland Dental Care practices in the U.S. to 238, plus 25 affiliated practices in 13 states.
Heartland provides its dentists and team members with continuing professional education and leadership training along with various management services.
