ADEA accepting 2009 award applications

The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is now accepting applications from dental educators, students, and institutions for 2009 awards, scholarships, and fellowships.

The ADEA awards program recognizes excellence in teaching, scholarship, and research, and provides funding for fellowship opportunities. The awards range from $1,000 scholarships to $15,000 for leadership development education, as well as $15,000 stipends for three-month fellowships with the ADEA in Washington, DC. ADEA member institutions are also eligible to receive monetary recognition for research and new procedure development.

The ADEA encourages all educators and students in predoctoral, postdoctoral, and allied dental institutions to apply. Awards will be given at the 2009 ADEA Annual Session and Exhibition in Phoenix.

To apply for the awards or for more information, visit the ADEA Web site.
