Astra Tech has expanded its Atlantis patient-specific abutment interfaces for North American customers to include Keystone Dental's PrimaConnex implants.
Designed in collaboration with Keystone, the product is the first in a series of new Atlantis interfaces to be launched in 2011.
Atlantis abutments are designed and fabricated using Atlantis virtual abutment design software, a process that combines 3D optical scanning with advanced software and manufacturing methods to create patient-specific abutments, according to Astra Tech. They are available for all major implant systems in titanium, gold-shaded titanium, and four shades of zirconia.
