Aribex, manufacturer of the Nomad handheld x-ray system, has qualified for up to $350,000 in financial incentives from the state of Utah to expand its manufacturing capacity.
Aribex will receive the incentive in the form of tax credits that are contingent upon the company hiring 30 more employees in the next three years, according to the company.
The incentives were authorized under the new Technology and Life Sciences Economic Development Act passed by lawmakers in 2011 and administered by the state's Office of Economic Development.
