Darby Dental Supply has signed a multiyear agreement with PracticeWorks Systems that makes Darby an authorized seller of Kodak digital imaging systems products, including the Kodak 1500 intraoral camera, Kodak RVG 6100 digital imaging sensors, and Kodak 2200 intraoral x-ray system.
"After completing a stringent evaluation of Darby's internal operations, resources, and corporate philosophy, we're confident that we selected the right distribution partner," said Patrik Eriksson, president and CEO of PracticeWorks Systems, in a press release. "We believe that Darby's telesales business model and customer service will be the best complement to our field sales force by further increasing our dental industry access."
Darby's telesales reps in Jericho, NY; Memphis, TN; Coral Springs, FL; East Lansing, MI; Phoenix; DePere, WI; and Reno, NV have already received training on Kodak digital imaging systems products, the company noted.
In related news, Darby Dental has expanded its product offerings with the addition of several KaVo handpieces and small equipment, including the Diagnodent caries detection aid.
Under a new distribution agreement with KaVo America, Darby is now an authorized distributor of KaVo's Prestige, Premium, and Classic air-driven high-speed handpiece collection; Intramatic ES/E and Intraflex low-speed handpiece and air-motor products; Multi LED bulbs and couplers; and Prophywiz ergonomic hygiene handpiece. Darby is also authorized to distribute KaVo's Diagnodent Classic unit and handheld Diagnodent pen.
