Laser and CAD/CAM scanner company Biolase reported a net loss for its fiscal third quarter of 2017.
For the quarter (end-September 30), the company reported a net loss of $4.6 million, compared with a net loss of $3.1 million in the same quarter of 2016.
Net revenue for the quarter was $10.8 million, a decrease of 18% compared with net revenue of $13.2 million from the same period of 2016. The company attributed the revenue decrease to worldwide laser sales.
Biolase is also involved in the dental imaging equipment market, including digital radiography systems and CAD/CAM scanners.
