Medical technology company Keystone Dental has launched artificial intelligence (AI)-based software Nexus Connect that analyzes implant scans to aid in the design of prosthetics.
By detecting scan gauges, segmenting them from tissues, and calculating positions for prosthetics, Nexus Connect allows dentists to get chairside results indicating the quality and accuracy of digital implant scans. Also, the system, which is used with the Nexus iOS system, offers feedback about improving unsuccessful scans and whether prosthetics will fit before they are made. The system is available globally.
