3D Diagnostic Imaging, makers of the CarieScan Pro early caries detection device, continues to expand its network of global distributors.
The company has signed distribution deals with Henry Schein in the U.S. and IT Stom in Russia, 3D Diagnostic Imaging announced.
IT Stom (previously known as Medinfodent) was founded in 1992 and runs a dental clinic and private education center in Moscow.
Last month, 3D Diagnostic Imaging announced that it had signed distribution deals with companies in Australia, Africa, and Southeast Asia. The company also has distributors in China, India, and several European countries. The company's products are already distributed in the U.S. by Patterson Dental on a nonexclusive basis.
3D Diagnostic Imaging's Caries Management Support System comprises the CarieScan Pro and RemoteView, a software package that captures data gathered by the CarieScan Pro for instant display on a PC screen and for recall at a later date, which enables practitioners to monitor the progression or regression of disease.
