The Planmed Verity extremity scanner is a new approach to orthopedic imaging that helps to detect the often missed fractures in the extremities, according to a press release. The scanner acquires a 3D image with a lower radiation dose than traditional CTs, and its anatomy-specific design offers weight-bearing imaging.
