As seen on "Shark Tank," Vivian Roknian, DMD, is a board-certified implantologist who has lectured and published internationally on topics within implant dentistry, dental extraction techniques, the nutritional needs of dental patients, and the unique dental needs of patients who have had weight loss surgery or who are undergoing cancer treatment. As a leader in the industry, Roknian has helped train over 2,000 dentists in dental implant placement, dental extraction techniques, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and advanced dental prosthetics. Dr. Roknian earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in psychobiology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University. She holds numerous fellowships and a diplomate certificate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Andrew Chin, DDS, practices at Tri-City Dental Care of Cerritos. He attended the University of California, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry and attended the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. There, he became a chief resident and completed a two-year general practice residency program. Through training, he learned aesthetic dentistry, implantology, and worked on medically compromised patients. Chin also published an article in a renowned dental journal and has presented his work at local and national dental conferences. He is an active member of the Harbor Dental Society, the ADA, as well as the Academy of Osseointegration. Chin is a credentialed member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where he continues to advance his skills with the changes in the field of implantology. He has taught at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Chin has also taught the dental materials course to senior students at the Cerritos College Hygiene Program in California.
Andrew Peterson, DMD, MS, practices at Arcadia Perio in California. He practiced in the greater Portland area until 2019, when he accepted an adjunct teaching position at Loma Linda University in its school of graduate periodontics. Peterson is board-certified and enjoys lecturing and teaching. He is experienced in a variety of periodontal regenerative therapies and implantology.
