The Peggy Lillis Foundation (PLF) announced its annual gala to kick off its fourth See C. Diff campaign to kick-start C. Diff Awareness Month. The gala, Changing the Odds, will take place on Friday, October 28.
Over the past year, PLF has continued its mission to fight Clostridium difficile infections through its annual summit, a lobby week, media coverage, testimony before the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the release of a lifestyle and nutrition guide for people with C. difficile. The guide, which features gut-friendly recipes and lifestyle tips, was created by PLF's team of advocates, doctors, and a registered dietician.
Awards for leadership and advocacy will also be presented at the gala.
