Pacific Dental Services (PDS) and the Smile Generation said that hundreds of underserved patients across the U.S. received oral healthcare during the 10th annual Smile Generation Serve Day.
Hundreds of dental practices supported by PDS and volunteers throughout the U.S. provided patients with dental care, including cleanings, x-rays, scaling and root planing, restorations, and extractions, according to PDS. Many of the patients treated on August 15 were affiliated with After Innocence, a nonprofit organization that services prison exonerees nationwide, PDS said.
