The California Dental Association has announced its new president for 2013: Lindsey A. Robinson, DDS, a pediatric dentist with more than 20 years of experience and a volunteer for the organization since 2003.
Dr. Robinson, who owns a practice in Grass Valley, outlined her goals for the organization during CDA's House of Delegates meeting in Newport Beach last month.
The implementation of the Affordable Care Act, diminishing government oral health programs, and changing national market trends are influencing the way healthcare may be practiced in the future, according to Dr. Robinson, who graduated from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California (USC) in 1990 and earned her pediatric certificate from the University of Florida in 1995.
An advocate for the improvement of the state's oral health, Dr. Robinson has also held positions with the CDA Foundation, ADA, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
