Mammograms In Action has been selected as the recipient of Dux Dental's 2012 Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze campaign proceeds.
Mammograms In Action is a nonprofit breast cancer organization that provides funding for low-income and uninsured women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures for the prevention of breast cancer.
"We are already half way to our goal of raising $5,000, and we call on the dental community to support this campaign because every dollar raised literally helps Mammograms In Action save lives," said Paul Porteous, president and CEO of Dux Dental, in a press release.
During the 2012 Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze campaign, which launched in May and runs through October 31, dental offices are invited to send their used bib chains and holders to Dux Dental in exchange for free boxes of Bib-Eze disposable bib holders. Dental offices will receive one 250-count box of Bib-Eze holders for each bib chain or holder that they send in.
In addition, for every used bib holder received, Dux Dental will donate $5 to Mammograms In Action.
Dental professionals can visit the campaign website to pledge their used bib chains and download participation guidelines.
