Ten nonprofit dental organizations in California will receive the California Dental Association (CDA) Foundation's Dental Materials and Supplies Grant this year.
Through a partnership with Henry Schein Cares, the CDA Foundation awards this grant to supply organizations with a broad selection of much-needed dental products and materials, the CDA said in a press release.
Nearly 80 nonprofit organizations have received more than $2 million worth of supplies since the program began in 2003. The in-kind donation of products and materials helps these organizations enhance the quality of dental care for underserved individuals and families in local California communities.
The following nonprofit dental organizations will receive the benefits of this partnership this year:
- UC San Diego Student-Run Free Dental Clinic
- Family HealthCare Network
- Vista Community Clinic
- Sacramento District Dental Foundation
- St. Mary's Interfaith Community Services
- Salud Para La Gente
- Venice Family Clinic
- Inland Behavioral and Health Services
- Ravenswood Family Health Center
