EPA takes new aim at dental amalgam mercury

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today announced it intends to propose a rule that will require dental offices to separate all mercury from dental amalgam waste in order to reduce the amount of mercury that goes into waste treatment plants.
