Sirona Dental Systems has announced several management changes, including the promotion of Jeffrey Slovin to the position of president.
Slovin previously was executive vice president responsible for U.S. operations and worldwide imaging and has held other positions within the company as well. He was also previously president of Schick Technologies.
As a result of his new position, which became effective September 20, he will initially relocate to Bensheim, Germany, the company noted.
Jost Fischer, who was president as well as chairman and CEO of Sirona, will remain as chairman and CEO. Michael Augins, president of Sirona USA, will also remain in that position.
Other management changes include:
- Walter Petersohn, currently vice president of sales, will assume the role of executive vice president of sales.
- Theo Haar, executive vice president, will retire after 12 years with the company.
