Regence launches Spanish website

As part of its Latino outreach efforts, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has launched a new company website in Spanish.

The site features articles about health and wellness, issues important to the Latino community, insurance benefit information, Regence programs and resources, and information about Regence's Latino Hero Award program.

"Launching a Spanish website is an extension of Regence's commitment to better serve the Latino community," said Francisco Garbayo, director of Regence's Latino outreach efforts. "The health disparities that exist in the Latino community are significant, and it's our goal to do whatever we can to address those disparities, remove barriers to care, and serve as a guide to Latinos navigating the healthcare system."

Regence is the largest health insurer in the Northwest/Intermountain region of the U.S., offering health, life, and dental insurance.
