Varian Medical Systems is showcasing two wireless digital x-ray detector models, the PaxScan 4336W and the PaxScan 2530W, at this year's European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
The 4336W is lightweight, cassette-sized, and portable with consistently high wireless transmission rates, according to the company. The 2530W portable radiographic panel is compatible for dental cone-beam CT (CBCT) and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures.
"These wireless detectors allow our customers to provide superior image quality, increased throughput, and significant workflow efficiencies to enhance the patient care experience," stated Steve Kimmel, vice president of sales and marketing for Varian's Imaging Components business, in a release.
