Planmeca has expanded its line of imaging products with the ProX intraoral x-ray system.
The Planmeca ProX features variable kilovolts (50-70 kV) and milliamperes (2-8 mA) for optimal image contrast and density for every diagnostic need and anatomical condition, according to the company. In addition, the x-ray tube has a focal spot size of 0.4 mm, which also enhances image resolution.
The ProX is preprogrammed with 66 settings for different exposure value combinations, and the system has been designed to ensure a smooth workflow, Planmeca noted.
