Digital x-ray developer AFP Imaging is expanding its Dent-X division's dealer sales network in Canada.
The Elmsford, NY, firm has signed a cooperative agreement with Global Practice Solutions to manage AFP's independent sales representatives and provide Dent-X's Canadian dental dealers with an expanded network of sales personnel.
AFP will promote its NewTom cone-beam CT 3D dental scanner in Canada in a new distribution program to be announced shortly.
AFP and Dent-X also have terminated their prior dealer relationship with Genexa Medical of Toronto. Genexa was a defendant in a complaint brought by AFP in a U.S. federal court in May 2008, alleging breach of contract. AFP submitted to the court Genexa's statement that the company was dissolved by its shareholders at the end of 2008 and is in the process of liquidation. AFP is asking the court to issue a default judgment against Genexa.
