Idondivi debuts surgical guide for implant surgery

Idondivi has launched the 3D Click Guide, an analog model-based concept for building an adjustable surgical guide for 1-2 implants.

The 3D Click Guide kit was designed and brought to market by a practicing dentist who saw the need for an economical and intuitive approach to the placement of these implants, according to the company.

Most cases done with the 3D Click Guide do not require a cone-beam CT diagnostic x-ray, instead using bone sounding and the dentist's skill sets and familiar instrumentation. But the system also integrates with cone-beam CT technology if required.

The 3D Click Guide comes in a single kit designed for in-office or laboratory fabrication of a precise adjustable surgical guide. The single-use 3D Click Guide kits come in three sizes -- ND, RD, WD -- and are available for direct sales from Idondivi via their website ($189/single-use kit).

Also available on the website are Idondivi's sets of multiuse Universal Drill Guides for use in guided implant surgery. They also come in ND, RD, and WD sizes ($79 to $99).

The 3D Click Guide kits and Universal Drill Guides are designed to be compatible with the guided instrumentation from Nobel Biocare and Strauman.
