MedX Health, a maker of low-level laser and light therapy equipment for tissue repair and pain relief, has acquired the Canadian operations of Reimers & Janssen (RJ-Laser).
The acquisition provides MedX with an expanded line of existing products in the dental, rehabilitation, chiropractic, and acupuncture laser and light markets, as well as forthcoming products for veterinarians and dermatologists.
Louie Canitano, president of RJ-Laser Canada, will join the MedX management team as the executive vice president of operations.
RJ-Laser's has European Conformity and clearance by the U.S. FDA and Health Canada for many of these laser products. FDA clearance includes the Handylaser Trion, Handylaser Sprint, LaserPen, Physiolaser Olympic, and Polylaser Trion.
