Materialise Dental has introduced the latest version of its SimPlant software, SimPlant Crystal. With SimPlant Crystal, clinicians can obtain clear images from CT and cone-beam scanners, resulting in better implant treatment planning, according to the company.
SimPlant Crystal is compatible with all implant brands and scanning equipment, and is designed to give clinicians the opportunity to plan their surgery time more efficiently, accept more referrals, and enjoy a higher revenue on even the most complex cases, Materialise said.
SimPlant Crystal also provides a link to DentalPlanit, a new Web site where clinicians can collaborate 24/7 with local imaging centers and other partners to quickly start their case planning. With a click of a button, DentalPlanit delivers patient images and treatment cases 24/7 and directly onto the clinician's computer.
