A dental drill contributed to the creation of a chandelier made up of used Moderna vaccine vials, according to an article from the New York Post.
Colorado nurse Laura Weiss used 400 empty, cleaned vials to create the chandelier in her home. The vials were obtained through several levels of approvals, according to the article.
Weiss used a dental drill to make the holes, allowing her to thread beads and crystals with the vials, formerly used for COVID-19 vaccination. The New York Post quoted Weiss as saying she created the chandelier to "honor people who have saved so many lives and worked so hard."
