Geistlich Biomaterials has expanded its portfolio of regenerative and complimentary products through a new distribution partnership with Osteogenics Biomedical.
The reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) mesh, or RPM, will now be available to Geistlich Biomaterials. It combines the benefits of a stable scaffold and a PTFE barrier membrane, and the mesh also provides optimal supply of the bone graft through vascularization from the periosteum to obtain vital bone, the firms said. RPM may also be augmented with a mixture of Geistlich Bio-Oss and autologous bone.
