Roland DGA's DGShape Americas has launched an AK-1 titanium abutment kit to help clinicians and dental laboratories offer in-house implant restorations.
The new abutment kit includes a titanium milling tools set, filter tray, torque screwdriver, hexagonal wrench, receptacle tray, and replacement filters. It also features three material attachments to enable milling of premilled titanium blanks from a variety of manufacturers, including GeoMedi, Medentika (Straumann Group), and NT-Trading.
The AK-1 kit is designed to work with the company's DWX-42W wet dental mill for a full-service experience. With the combined DWX-42W and AK-1 kit, clinicians and labs can mill both custom abutments and implant-supported restorations, helping to reduce costs and turnaround times, Roland DGA noted.
