EnvisionTEC announced it is previewing its new Vida Continuous Digital Light Manufacturing (cDLM) high-speed 3D printer.
The cDLM technology allows for accurate, high-speed 3D printing with fewer supports, the company said. Vida cDLM is the second 3D printer based on the technology.
A limited number of the Vida cDLM printers will be available in the second quarter, followed by a full product launch, according to the company.
EnvisionTEC is demonstrating the new printer at LMT Lab Day in Chicago in booths A-43 and B-42. It is also showcasing its new 3D printing material, E-Model, a durable resin suitable for creating models for thermoformed aligners, crowns and bridges, and other items.
The company also said it has begun shipping E-Dent 400 and E-Gum, which are both dental materials previewed at last year's LMT Lab Day.
