St. Renatus features nasal spray
St. Renatus is featuring its Kovanaze nasal spray at the Midwinter Meeting.
Kovanaze allows for dental anesthesia to be administered through a nasal spray without using a needle. The product is indicated for regional anesthesia when a restorative procedure is being performed on teeth Nos. 4 to 13 and A to J in adults and children who weigh 40 kg or more, according to the company.

Centrix introduces impressioning system
Centrix is introducing its new NoCord VPS impressioning system in Chicago.
The NoCord VPS system consists of the NoCord Wash and MegaBody tray materials. The system was designed specifically for the wash-and-tray technique and produces highly accurate dental impressions without the need for retraction cords and pastes, according to the company.

Coltene debuts new composite and adhesive cement
Coltene is debuting a new hybrid composite and self-adhesive cement at the Midwinter Meeting.
Brilliant EverGlow is a universal submicron hybrid composite. The composite comes in three shades (universal, translucent, and opaque) and is available in a 3-gram syringe or 0.2-gram tip refills or kits. The company is also offering a starter kit with an assortment of universal and translucent shades. The composite has ideal handling and exceptional blending properties, according to the company.
The company is also featuring the SoloCem adhesive cement. It includes MDP and 4-MET(A) monomers for bonding values on a range of different materials and for a variety of indications, including crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, endodontic posts, and implant abutments. The cement is formulated with antibacterial zinc oxide and has an intraoral processing time of about 60 seconds, according to the company. The product comes in dentin, white opaque, and translucent shades and is delivered using automix syringes.

GC America launches new resin cement
GC America is launching the new G-CEM LinkForce resin cement at the Chicago meeting.
G-CEM LinkForce is a dual-cure adhesive resin cement for all types of indirect restorations. It is an esthetic, universal solution that comes in four shades (A2, bleach, opaque, and translucent) and has excellent color stability and easy cleanup, according to the company.

Kerr introduces new composite
Kerr is introducing its new Harmonize composite at the Midwinter Meeting.
Harmonize is a nanohybrid, universal composite that includes adaptive response technology, a nanoparticle filler network that help dentists achieve lifelike restorations. This filler network also offers blending capabilities and enhanced structural integrity, according to the company. The composite is available in packs of 10 and 20, as well as syringes.

Keystone debuts thermoplastic resin
Keystone Industries is launching a new thermoplastic resin in Chicago.
Clearmet is a clear thermoplastic resin designed to be durable and biocompatible. The thermoplastic microcrystalline transparent polyamide material is intended for use in an injection molding process. The resin means patients with a lightweight partial will not have any metal taste or metal clasps showing, according to the company.

KometaBio introduces new dentin grinder
KometaBio is debuting a new dentin grinder at the Midwinter Meeting.
The Smart Dentin Grinder can transform extracted teeth into an autologous graft, which can then be turned into a dentin graft. A graft composed of dentin offers minimal remodeling without fear of infection or rejection, according to the company. Both short-term site stability and implant stability are improved by this kind of graft, while new bone regeneration is facilitated by embedded growth factors.

Pac-Dent launches new restoration system
Pac-Dent is introducing a new system for class II restorations at the Chicago meeting.
The iMatrix system includes a ring, matrices, and wedges that allow users to perform high-quality posterior composite restorations. The iMatrix's NiTi ring is both a clamp and separator of the teeth, resulting in perfect contacts. The matrix and wedge combine to seal and shape the posterior composite restoration so that only minimal finishing is needed, according to the company.

Voco America debuts glass ionomer restorative
Voco America is launching the new Ionolux AC glass ionomer restorative.
Ionolux AC is an immediately packable, resin-modified, glass-ionomer restorative with composite-like esthetics. The restorative can be condensed immediately after application and features nonstick handling for longevity, according to the company. This product enables practitioners to offer care for at-risk demographics, such as the pediatric and geriatric populations. The product is available in five aesthetic shades.
