Taub Products has launched Ca-Lok, a flowable adhesive calcium base/liner.
Ca-Lok is a light-cured, calcium-filled resin that is radiopaque and releases fluoride. It adheres to dentine and is compatible with other restorative materials, according to the company.
The resin is designed to be used as a protective liner and can be placed under restorative materials and cements for deep cavities, Taub noted. Other features include hydrophilic and hyrdrophobic properties, as well as flowable viscosity.
