The Henry Schein Cares Foundation will donate $100,000 in supplies to support two upcoming volunteer CDA Cares dental clinics by the California Dental Association (CDA) Foundation.
These CDA Cares events provide oral health services and education at no cost to Californians who have barriers to care, according to the association.
"The philanthropic support we have received from Henry Schein is vital to the success of our CDA Cares events," stated Don Rollofson, DMD, chair of the CDA Foundation in a release. "With their support and this very generous contribution, we will be able serve more patients across California who need oral healthcare the most."
Since 2012, the CDA Foundation has held seven CDA Cares events that have provided $11.2 million in dental services to nearly 14,000 patients across California.
The foundation is offering a CDA Cares clinic in Fresno, CA, from October 2-3 and another in Ventura, CA, from April 16-17, 2016. For more information, visit the CDA Foundation website.
