DentalEZ Group will unveil its Concentrix high-speed handpiece line by StarDental during the upcoming Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting, February 23-25.
The new Concentrix family is the company's line of economical handpieces. Each handpiece is made of stainless steel and contains a lubricated steel-bearing turbine. It also has a water spray feature that enables the user to maintain a cool temperature for both the tooth and bur. In addition, the fiber-optic models in the Concentrix family contain single glass rod optics for shadow-free illumination.
The handpieces have a small head and high-torque design to enable oral accessibility and visibility, and the high power enables fast and precise removal of tooth surface and amalgam, according to the company. Its low-noise level reduces the possibility of auditory damage and provides a more pleasant patient experience.
Each handpiece carries a one-year warranty. Four models are available:
- Concentrix SX: A high-speed fiber-optic handpiece with lubricated steel-bearing autochuck turbine. The SX can use either an LED or halogen StarDental swivel.
- Concentrix SW: Nonfiber-optic high-speed handpiece with lubricated steel-bearing autochuck turbine. The SW uses a standard four-line StarDental swivel.
- Concentrix FX: A high-speed four-line fixed back-end handpiece with lubricated steel-bearing autochuck turbine.
- Concentrix FB: Fixed back-end four-line high-speed handpiece with a manual chuck. The steel-bearing turbine carries a six-month warranty.
