Nano Bridging Molecules (NBMolecules) has received the European CE Mark (Conformité Européenne) to begin marketing its SurfLink dental product.
The CE Mark allows NBMolecules to sell and distribute its products throughout the 28 countries of the European Economic Area.
The company's SurfLink technology is designed to improve the success, short and long term, of implant placements.
With its biomimicking properties, the SurfLink dental product has been shown to allow for natural and permanent integration of dental implants for the first time, according to the company. Bone seems to perceive the SurfLink dental product as body-like and integrates the implant with a natural healing process, resulting in a quicker healing and a more stable integration, than without this product, the company said.
