Darby Dental Supply has expanded its personal product brand selection with the introduction of Darby disposable air/water syringe tips.
The syringe tips contain a durable steel inner core that guarantees dry air or fresh water on demand, the company said. The plastic exterior of the syringe tips comes in five translucent colors: yellow, purple, teal, blue, and clear. The tips are available in a 250-count assortment bag of colors, or one solid color.
The tips improve patient safety by eliminating the concerns of cross-contamination and buildup in metal tips, the company noted. In addition, office efficiency is improved by eliminating the cost and time to sterilize metal tips.
Additional features include:
- Sealed separation of air and water to prevent water contamination of dry air when dry tooth preparation is required
- Locking bayonet ring to prevent accidental ejection of the tip
- Sturdy design allows for full cheek and tongue retraction
- Full tip rotation with 360° swivel converter and angled tip for access to difficult-to-reach tooth positions
