Shofu Dental has introduced Beautiful Flow Plus, a new flowable hybrid in a syringe delivery system. Approved for all indications, including class II restorations, Beautiful Flow Plus presents a way to complete restorations using a single material, filled all the way up to the occlusal surface, according to the company.
Shofu's proprietary surface prereacted glass technology also provides sustained fluoride release and recharge, making it ideal for high caries index patients or as a glass ionomer alternative, the company said. A smooth, self-leveling composition reduces the need to overhandle the material, speeds the restoration process, and simplifies polishing. Light diffusion and chameleon properties provide aesthetic solutions, eliminating the need for stocking multiple shade variations.
The product comes in two viscosities -- F00 (zero flow) for precision stacking and F03 (low flow) for traditional flow delivery -- and will be available in two kits, each retailing for $99.95.
The Standard kit (Part Number 2000S) offers both F00 and F03 viscosities in A2 and A3.5. The Pedo kit (Part Number 2000P) comes with A1 and Bleach White shades in both F00 and F03. Both kits also contain a selection of Shofu's products including BeautiBond, One Gloss, Super Snap, and BeautiFil II.
