Zimmer Dental is now offering the Zimmer Guided Surgery Instrumentation for use with the company's Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System, the company announced.
The Guided Surgery Instrumentation is compatible with case planning software and guided surgery systems, according to the company. Zimmer is also offering its SimPlant treatment planning software in conjunction with the new instrumentation.
In addition, the Zimmer Drill Module with additional-length DrĂva EG drills snaps into the Tapered Screw-Vent Surgical Kit, allowing for one instrument kit to accommodate both traditional and guided surgery procedures.
DrĂva and DrĂva EG drills are designed to interface with selected surgical guides and provide depth control, while tube adapters, included in the Zimmer tube adapter kit, help to orient drills, facilitating positional and angulation control, the company said.
