Kerr has introduced the Demi Plus LED light curing system, calling it the "next generation" in premium curing light technology.
Demi Plus is powered by Demetron Technology and features a number of design enhancements, including a Valox resin exterior and a self-cleaning "cap and swipe" battery design to simplify charging, according to the company. The system also includes an extended turbo light guide that improves access for posterior procedures and comes with a three-year warranty.
Demi Plus maintains the same features as previous curing light models, including periodic level shifting technology that drives continuous high output for five-second curing of shades A3 and lighter without excess heat, Kerr said.
As with all Demetron lights, a fan prevents the unit from overheating and extends the overall life of the LEDs, the company said.
All Demetron light guides are compatible with the new Demi Plus.
