Implant maker Biomet 3i will collaborate with Renishaw to provide a range of dental milling options.
The partnership will allow Biomet 3i to expand its portfolio of patient-specific CAD/CAM restorative products, according to the companies.
Using the Renishaw scanner and Biomet 3i incise CAD software, laboratories can obtain broader access to a wide range of dental milling options, including the ability to scan precision copy milled bar patterns, the companies said. Laboratories utilizing the ProceraForte scanner can also benefit from all these options by using the Biomet 3i incise CAD software.
Clinicians will be able to offer patients Biomet 3i incise copings and frameworks in zirconia and cobalt chrome and precision copy milled bars, according to the companies.
