Henry Schein recently introduced a number of new products for restorative procedures.
The Maxima Pro and Pro LTC handpieces feature ceramic-bearing technology and an ergonomic design. The Maxima Pro reduces hand fatigue and increases control, while the angled head improves access, according to the company. The Pro LTC model has the same features as the Maxima Pro, plus LED technology for illumination and Multiflex connection with fiber optics.
Blu-Bite Clear, a matrix material for temporaries, offers greater detail while allowing light to pass through for curing the temporary material, the company said. In addition, its Clear bite-registered material is fast setting. A complete package of Blu-Bite contains two 50-mL cartridges and 12 pink mixing tips.
Interdental Wedges for tooth separation offer stability and compressibility with an anatomical form that guarantees successful contact and no sliding after insertion, the company said. Each wooden wedge is color coded for size identification and is available in various sizes -- including small, thin/mini, medium, large/extra-large -- and colors, including pink, green, white, and peach.
Acclean 5% sodium fluoride varnish comes in premeasured unit-dose cups designed to fit easily into the enclosed finger ring. The varnish is applied with the included Microbrush applicator. Pearlized white varnish sets on contact with saliva and dries to a natural tooth color. The varnish is formulated with natural sweeteners and xylitol, and delivers the highest fluoride concentration available, compared to nonvarnish fluorides, according to the company.
Scent-sational powder-free nytrile exam gloves feature a wide palm surface and textured fingertips designed to reduce hand fatigue and increase tactile sensitivity and grip. The gloves are available in extra-small, small, medium, large, and extra-large and come in four scents -- bubble gum, grape, vanilla, and orange creamsicle.
