Sunstar Americas has launched GUM Crayola Squeeze-A-Color toothpaste.
The toothpaste comes in a variety pack of child-friendly tubes (1.5 oz. ea,ch) with three nonstaining colors and flavors -- blueberry burst (blue), melon blast (red) and jazzy apple (green) -- to keep children interested in brushing, according to the company.
Safe for use by children ages 2 and older, the small nozzle cap tube design encourages kids to get creative by mixing and matching colors and flavors, while helping to reduce toothpaste mess and waste and also encouraging the use of the right amount of toothpaste. The new toothpaste also has fluoride and a low-abrasive formula that gently cleans while strengthening young teeth and helping to prevent caries, according to Sunstar.
The GUM Crayola product line includes the GUM Crayola marker toothbrush, GUM Crayola timer light toothbrush, GUM Crayola Pip-Squeaks twin-pack toothbrush, GUM Crayola power toothbrush and GUM Crayola kids' flossers.
The GUM Crayola Squeeze-A-Color Toothpaste will have a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.99 at select retailers and online at www.GUMbrand.com in August 2013.
