The Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) Foundation is now accepting applications for its new Smile Program aimed at providing underprivileged children, adults, and seniors with the personal oral hygiene supplies needed to put them on the track toward good dental health.
The WDA Foundation's goal is to provide toothbrushes and toothpaste to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations that serve at-risk populations. Grants of these personal oral hygiene tools will be awarded semiannually in April and October.
To be considered for a Smile Program grant, nonprofits should focus on intervention with early care, educational information, or support, as well as providing tools for positive behavior.
Applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 1 (fall cycle) and April 1 (spring cycle). To apply, visit the WDA Foundation section on WDA.org.
