From 1962 to 2012, Water Pik is celebrating 50 years of business. To mark the anniversary, the company will be giving away five products every day from January 18-31. Winners may select the product they wish to receive, which includes the Ultra Water Flosser, the Water Flosser For Kids, the Traveler Water Flosser, EasySelect or EcoFlow showerheads, or the Water Pulsator. Started by a dentist and an engineer, Water Pik has acquired more than 500 patents since 1962. The company developed and introduced many products that are considered the first of their kind and have led to the formation of new categories, including the Waterpik Water Flosser and pulsating shower massage.
Previously known as the Dental Water Jet, the Water Flosser is still a leading product on the market 50 years later, noted Water Pik President and CEO Richard Bisson.
