The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Dental Hygiene Program is accepting patients to help students hone their skills, according to a story on MagicValley.com.
The students perform dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatments and place dental sealants under the supervision of a dentist. Students are required to perform the functions on children and adults of all ages at the CSI's dental clinic.
Appointments typically last longer than regular dental visits since students are being trained, the story noted.
